We can help you prep your skin for that special event.
We have all seen our favorite celebrities walk the Red Carpet at the MET this past Monday, and besides fabulous custom designer gowns and suits, us skincare fanatics, could not stop admiring all the beautifully prepped and glowing skin from all attendees. Here at con un we help you prep your skin for that special event of yours, because you don’t have to attend the MET Gala to flaunt gorgeous, glowing skin.
Tip #1: CLEANSE AND BOOST YOUR SKIN
If your skin is looking dull lately, you might need to cleanse and boost your glow with some Vitamin C Serum. Apply our MICELLAR DETOX with a soft cotton pad and lightly pat all over your skin, and don’t forget the neck! After this step, give your skin a glowing boost with our BOOSTER ENERGY CELLS. Apply a coin-sized amount to your hand and lightly rub it all over your face and neck, making sure you always go upwards to create a lifting effect and prevent skin sagging.
Tip #2: GET YOUR MASK ON!
We don’t always have time to hit up our favorite spa or esthetician before a big event, but don’t worry! You can make your own natural face mask at home with ingredients right from your pantry.
- 1 ripe Banana
- 1 tablespoon of Greek Yogurt
- ½ tablespoon of Fresh Lemon juice*
- Peel off ripe banana and mash it with a fork
- Mix all ingredients well and apply it your skin after cleansing.
- Let it sit for 25-30 minutes
- Gently massage into your skin for 2-3 minutes.
- Rinse and follow your normal skincare routine.
*Please Note: Lemon juice is a relatively strong ingredient. Make sure you limit this ingredient in your face masks to once a week.
Tip #3: DON’T SKIP EYE CREAM!
You will want to incorporate an eye cream into your daily routine to prevent dark circles and wrinkles, it is even a more crucial step right before a special event. It will not only give you a more rested look, but it will also help your makeup glide and set beautifully. Just apply a pea-sized amount of our EYE CONTOUR & EXPRESSION LINES after your serum and before your moisturizer. Dab it with your ring finger, which is the gentlest finger as it is the one that provides the least amount of pressure.
